Red Anconas Arrive in May 2010.
My pair of red anconas arrived on Saturday 7th May 2010. Their names are Romeo and Juliet.
Red anconas are very rare in Western Australia, so it has been a steep learning curve to find out what is what with them.
Romeo has excellent colouring and type. Last year he won Best Ancona over black anconas, and went on in the same show to win Reserve Softfeather Bird. I am very pleased with him.
This is a picture of Juliet exploring her pen. She is not so keen on having her photo taken, as you can see by the rear end shot.
